GRADE 5
WEAVING
Grade 5 art students will begin the year with an example of Textile Art. We will be making a loom and adding the warp string during the first lesson. We will then create a pattern by weaving the weft strings through the warp.
The students will learn that different cultures create art that has been passed down through the generations and this art is known as Folkart.
